CULTIVATED

CoBank’s customers provide the critical lifeline services we all depend on – food, water, energy and communications

A Growing Mission

CoBank is a $130 billion cooperative bank serving a variety of vital industries across rural America. The bank provides loans, leases, export financing and other financial services to agribusinesses and rural power, water and communications providers in all 50 states. The bank also provides wholesale loans and other financial services to affiliated Farm Credit associations serving approximately 75,000 farmers, ranchers and other rural borrowers in 23 states around the country.

Large and Small

CoBank’s customers include brand names like Sun-Maid, Blue Diamond and Ocean Spray, as well as large co-ops like Minnesota-based agriculture leader CHS, the nation’s largest cooperative enterprise. But they also include Sam Houston Electric, which brings electricity to a small corner of southeast Texas, and Pitman Farms, a family-based organic poultry business in Sanger, California.

Customer-Owners

Thanks to CoBank’s cooperative structure, each customer is also an owner of the bank. The bank’s organization ensures that we remain aligned with and focused on the needs of our customers – as both customers and shareholders.
