Theresa Bradley Appointed as CoBank’s Chief Audit Officer
DENVER (July 29, 2022) — CoBank, a cooperative bank serving agribusinesses, rural infrastructure providers and Farm Credit associations throughout the United States, today announced that Theresa Bradley has been appointed as the bank’s new Chief Audit Officer.
Bradley comes to CoBank after spending almost two decades with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), where she specialized in financial services. As a director with PwC, Bradley oversaw multiple audit teams that conduct risk- and controls-related projects for corporate clients in the banking, mortgage servicing, investment management and retirement recordkeeping sectors.
Over the course of her career, Bradley has served on audit teams for multiple Farm Credit System institutions, including CoBank. She holds bachelor’s degrees in accounting and information systems management from the University of Maryland and an MBA from Regis University in Denver. She holds a Certified Public Accountant credential in both Maryland and Colorado.
“We are delighted that Theresa will be joining our team,” said Tom Halverson, CoBank’s president and chief executive officer. “Theresa’s deep experience in the Farm Credit System and with CoBank will prove to be an asset as she leads this important role for the bank and for our customer-owners.”
Bradley will have responsibility for the bank’s assurance functions, including its Internal Audit and Asset Review teams. She will report on the effectiveness of the overall control environment at CoBank and report directly to the Audit Committee of the Board. She will serve as an ex-officio member of the bank’s Management Executive Committee.
Bradley succeeds Steven Wittbecker, who was recently appointed as CoBank’s Chief Sustainability Officer.
